Tim Tebow Competitive?

I read this article at USA Today titled "Tim Tebow not thinking about winning Denver Broncos' starting QB job", which quoted Tebow from an interview with NFL.com. 

When Tebow was asked by NFL.com if he has a realistic chance of winning the Broncos QB spot, Tebow replied "I don't even think about it like that. I think about every day I have to get better, and if I do that, then I'll be satisfied with myself and going in and getting better every day. Because that's all that I can control and that's what I'm going to worry about." 

Of course Tebow wants to win the top spot, of course almost every professional and college athlete wants to win the top spot.  As far as mind set is concerned, Tebow has it right.  Get out there and give everything you got and don't worry about where he is vs. the other guys…  which could be more of a distraction than benefit.
